Differentiating between shapes, colours and sizes
Hand out the Miniland vehicles and play grouping them together. Talk about the differences and similarities in the vehicles: shapes, colours and sizes. Take the opportunity to develop spatial concepts such as above and below, in front of, behind, etc. Introduce numbers and amounts.
When finished, play the digital game to reinforce content. The game consists of finding the pair of the vehicle travelling along the road. Place an identical vehicle on the road.
Hand out the sheet (printed out beforehand) and ask the children to paint the vehicles the colour or colours you are working on. Using the Miniland vehicles reproduce the sequence shown on the sheets in accordance with shape and colour.Support/Help
